Youth Ultimate

Join the ultimate community in Edmonton for youth! Ages 10-17 - no previous experience required - everyone is welcome!

We will have two divisions - U14 (10-13) and U18 (14-17). *movement between divisions may occur due to skill evaluation.
New youth players are always welcome to our leagues. There is no previous experience required, everyone is welcome! 

Volunteer Youth Coaches Needed

EUPA is currently recruiting volunteer coaches for our Spring Youth League. No previous coaching or Ultimate experience is required — we provide all the resources, practice plans, and support you’ll need.

Coaches will receive an honorarium for their time, and the only requirement is a current police record check, which will be reimbursed, to ensure a safe environment for our youth players.

If you’re enthusiastic, reliable, and enjoy working with youth in a fun and positive environment, we encourage you to register as a coach. Help grow the sport, support our community, and make this spring season unforgettable!

Tuesday Spring Youth League

• Who: This league is targeted towards youth aged 10-18. All experience levels are welcomed
• What:  Individual and pod sign-up allowed and EUPA will form teams.
• When: Tuesdays - May 5th - June 26th 7:00 - 8:30pm for U14 and 7:00 - 9:00PM for U19. (8 weeks) 
• Where: Kaskitayo Park (1975 109 St NW, Edmonton)
• Format:
  • Mixed Youth Teams
  • Official USAU rules as per Ultimate Canada Standards; See “Appendix D: Youth Rules Adaptations” for recommended changes.
  • Contingent conditions subject to registrations:
    • 2 divisions:
      • U14 (ages 10-13 years old)
      • U19 (ages 14-18 years old)
• Cost: $80 + GST
  • Early Bird Discount - save $8.00 when you register on or before March 16th, 2026. 
• Registration Options: 
• Individual
• You will be placed on a team
• Pods:  
• During registration indicate your pod-mates
• Pods of up to [3] players allowed (player + [2] pod mates)

Registration closes: April 28th, 2026 at 10PM 

Youth Leagues run all year round! 

The ULTIMATE Youth Tournament is back! 

What: Ultimate Tournament for all youths. This HAT tournament allows players to sign up as an individual or small group. Teams will be formed to be a mix of skill levels and experience so every team is closely matched. It’s a great way to meet new ultimate frisbee loving friends.

Who: This Spring Tournament is targeted towards youth ages 10-18. 

When: May 24th, 2026, 10 - 4pm tentatively, as it will depend on final number count. 

Where: Kaskitayo Park (1975 109 St NW, Edmonton)

Format:

• 5v5 or 4v4 depending on numbers
• 1 day hat tournament, 3 games minimum. 
• 2 divisions
  • U14 (ages 10-13 years old)
  • U19 (ages 14-18 years old)
  • Exceptions can be made for skill/pods 

Cost: $25 + GST/player

Registration Options: Individuals & Pods

  • You will be placed on a team with other youth
• Pods:
  • During registration indicate your pod-mates
    • Pods of up to 3 players (player + [2] pod mates)

Notes: Pizza Party! 🍕 Thanks to our amazing EUPA volunteers who donated their Volunteer Incentive Program (VIP) points, we’re excited to host a fun pizza party this year.

Please note that if you are currently registered in our Youth Spring League, you are automatically registered for this tournament.
