League of Extraordinary Ultimate Rules
Rules
- 11th edition rules apply, except...
- 6 second stall count
- Continuous flow – no pull after a point, play continues, scoring player must indicate that he/she is in by tapping the ground with the disc.
- Change on the fly
- The player coming off must touch the sideline in the designated exchange area before the sideline player can cross the sideline onto the field.
- If the player going on goes on too early any person on the sideline can call “offside”. The person who left early has to return to the exchange area and touch the exchange area sideline with hand or foot.
- If the person who is offside catches the disc before completing their penalty it is a turn over.
- Games are 3 sets to five points.
- All 3 sets are played
- Game winner is determined by total points of the 3 sets
- A pull starts each set
- One (1) time out allowed per set
- They do not carry over to the next set
- No subs allowed in a time out
- Only the team with possession of the disk may call a timeout
- Gender match is not required
- Smaller field:
- 15 yard endzone
- 20 yard
- 10 yard exchange zone
- 20 yard
- 15 yard endzone
- 25 yards wide
- Brick will be 5 yards out of the endzone
Trades
- Purpose: To maintain parity within the league, encourage the mingling of players and for the fun of it.
- Players will be assigned a salary value at the start of the year ($2,000,000)
- A players salary will increase with:
- A team win (+ $100,000)
- By catching a point in the endzone (+$ 125, 000)
- By assisting a point (+ $125,000)
- By performing a defensive knockdown or turnover (+ $125,000)
- When the cumulative salaries of the players on a team exceed the team salary cap a trade must be made.
- Salary cap = $27,000,000 or $29,000,000
- When a player is traded their salary is reduced according to what the salary is:
- <3 million players = player salary – 1 million
- 3-5 million players = player salary – 2 million
- >5 million players = player salary – 2.5 million

- Trades must be approved by the league commissioner
- Trades must be submitted to the commissioner by the Friday following a league game. Before 9:00 PM
- A player traded from a team cannot return to that team until after that player has played two (2) nights with a different team.
- The Friday before the last two nights of the season will be the season trade deadline
- The first and second place teams cannot trade with each other
- If a team is over the salary cap and a trade has not been finalized by the submittal deadline the league commissioner will force a trade with or without the GM’s approval.
Pickups
- Pickups will be allowed without a fee being charged. However if a pickup plays 3 nights or more they will be expected to pay the full league fee of $30
- If a non-signed pickup person shows at the field that person will be offered to the last place team first, then the second last and up to the first place team until that person is picked up.
- If a GM knows ahead of time that he will be short players and alerts the commissioner by email of who he will be bringing by 5:00 PM prior to the game that person will not have to go through the pickup process.
- Pickups won’t be eligible for league prizes.
