Edmonton Womens Ultimate

Are you interested in playing ultimate with a bunch of fun and talented women? Then we want you!

Edmonton Women’s Ultimate (EWU) is a group of women that travel to various tournaments representing the city of Edmonton. Our goal is to create a fun and challenging environment where women can develop their ultimate skills to become competitive team players. We also want to produce teachers and leaders for Edmonton ultimate as a whole.

If you are interested in being part of this group, please attend the information meeting and join our practices.

Practices

• Thursdays, 7-9pm at the Butterdome, U of A campus
  
• Wednesdays, 7-9pm at Kaskitayo fields starting late April (*Practices changed to Hawrelak Park starting Wed, June 15!)
• Saturday afternoons (non-tournament weekends), time & location TBA

We encourage players to:

• Commit! We believe that practicing together will make us a stronger team so please try to attend the majority of practices (which will run on Wednesday nights, as well as some Saturdays)
• Work and play hard at practice
  
• Take your mad frisbee skills and spirit back to your league teams and spread the love

Touring

We would like to attend the following tournaments:

• Flowerbowl - June 5-6, Vancouver
• Nationals - August 11-14, Ottawa
