The 2019 Canadian Ultimate Championships are coming to Edmonton!

The Edmonton Ultimate Players Association (EUPA), with support from Edmonton Events, a partnership between the City of Edmonton and Edmonton Tourism, is pleased to announce the 2019 Canadian Ultimate Championships (CUC 2019) are coming to Edmonton August 11-18, 2019.

This exciting event is expected to draw more than 1,500 athletes and coaches from all across Canada to Edmonton to compete for the right to be named Canada’s Ultimate champion for 2019.

Edmonton is a repeat host of the Canadian Ultimate Championships, having welcomed the Canadian ultimate community in 2001 and 2016. Bringing CUC 2019 back to Edmonton is an excellent chance for Edmontonians to see once again some of the best Ultimate players in Canada strut their stuff, and is also a wonderful opportunity to show off our city to our fellow Canadians.

Come August 2019; the host venue will the Ivor Dent Sports Park in south Edmonton. Ivor Dent Sports Park is a 138-acre, first-class tournament facility with more than 20 fields for sports like soccer, football, rugby, cricket and of course, ultimate. The Canadian Ultimate Championships was the first major sporting event to held at Ivor Dent back in 2016, and we are excited to return to the facility for CUC 2019.
