Forum Guidelines
The following are basic rules of conduct that users of
Edmonton Ultimate Players Association (EUPA) Forums (the "Forums")
are required to adhere to. Failure to comply with these rules of conduct may
result in the termination ("banning") of your Forums account. Because
every situation is different, all moderation of the Forums is at the discretion
of the EUPA web admins and the EUPA Board. These rules are subject to change.
1. While participating in the Forums, you must respect the
rights of others to participate in the community. To this end you may not
harass, defraud, threaten or cause distress and/or unwanted attention to other
members. This includes, but is not limited to:
Name-calling or other insults
Posting with the intent of provoking another user or users
Flaming another user for their spelling or grammar
Bringing disagreements with someone into unrelated threads
2. You may not use sexually explicit, harmful, threatening,
abusive, defamatory, obscene, hateful, racially, nationally or ethnically
offensive language. You may not deliberately misspell, or substitute
punctuation or other special characters in, filtered words to circumvent the
filter.
3. You may not distribute or spotlight sexually explicit,
harmful, threatening, abusive, defamatory, obscene, hateful, racially,
nationally, or ethnically offensive content. This includes posting links to
sites which contain any of the above.
4. You may not impersonate any EUPA Board Member/Committee
Member, past or present.
5. You may not violate any local, provincial, national, or
international laws or regulations.
6. You may not market, promote, advertise or solicit
products or services for sale or trade within EUPA Community Forums. You may
not post advertisements for websites that are not directly related to EUPA or
Ultimate in general.
7. You may not form or participate in groups whose ideology
is based on or resembles anti-religious, anti-ethnic, anti-sexual orientation,
racist, or sexist philosophies.
8. Making short posts for the sole purpose of moving your
thread up the Forums ("bumping") or adding to your post count is not
allowed.
9. You may not upload or transmit copyrighted material,
without the express consent of the copyright holder.
10. You may not post the personally identifiable information
of another user, including but not limited to their real name, address, phone
number, email address, or links to personal websites without the express
consent of that user.
11. You may not re-post Private Messages on the Forums
without the express consent of the sender.
12. Discussion of religious or political topics is
prohibited on the Forums.
13. Do not re-post or quote any materials which violate the
Forum Guidelines.
14. Please do not respond to posts made by trolls. Use the
Report Abuse function by clicking on the 'Report Abuse link at the bottom right
of the post. A definition of Trolling can be found at the following link:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Internet_troll
15. Users are entitled to one primary account. While
secondary accounts are allowed, any account created for the purpose of trolling
or otherwise violating these Forums Guidelines will result in the permanent ban
of the secondary account and the temporary or permanent ban of the primary
account, at the moderators' discretion.
16. We do not discuss disciplinary actions taken against
members either with other members or on the forums, and we ask that you do not
either. Any threads or posts that mention infractions/bans etc. will be removed
and might result in further disciplinary action.
17. We do not allow post hijacking in any way. Posting to an
existing post with completely irrelevant information or to steer the post to
towards something completely different is strictly not allowed. Keep all posts
relevant to the topic you are posting with in.

will result in an abuse report to the user's internet service provider.
